Stacking the Shelves / Showcase Sunday #17

9 Jun 2013
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @Books, Biscuits, and Tea and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and they both give bloggers the opportunity to share the books they have received in the past week.

I received a few amazing books this week including a big giveaway win and some great amazon downloads. If you click on the cover you will be taken to the amazon page (or the goodreads page).

Review

A huge thank you to Julie for Letters To Nowhere, Anne for Dark Child and Karli for April Showers.

Letters To Nowhere

April Showers

Netgalley

I got two books from netgalley this week. Well I half did, for some reason I can't get them downloaded to my kindle. Hopefully I can get them onto my kindle eventually as I really want to read them both.

Branded

Bought

I have read both of these books already and they are both amazing. I highly recommend this series. The first book in the series is Significance and I think you should get it now.

Freebies

I made the mistake of browsing the top 100 free New Adult books on Amazon I now have a lot of awesome sounding NA novels five of which are a complete (I think) series.

Won

This week I won a giveaway run by Hooked on Books (Bloomsbury publishing) and I got 6 awesome books! I already have two of them so Throne of Glass is going to a blogger friend and I will probably use The Declaration in a giveaway.

So what do you think of the books I recieved this week? Are there any you have read or want to read? Feel free to link to your own Stacking the Shelves (or similar) post in the comments.

  1. Great haul! I'll have to go and grab some of those Kindle freebies :D I've seen loads of people talking about April Showers as well so I can't wait to hear your thoughts on that. I still haven't read Throne of Glass so I need to hurry up and get my hands on that so I can see what all the fuss is about! :D Enjoy your books :)

  5. Oh some great books. I did here there's an issue with the Kindle galley of CoM on Netgalley, and the publisher are supposedly trying to fix it. You're lucky to get one. They've shut a lot of folk out of obtaining it.

    1. I heard there was an issue with it also but I can't download my other book either. Maybe the issue is actually with netgalley.
