Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @Books, Biscuits, and Tea and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and they both give bloggers the opportunity to share the books they have received in the past week.
I have had a great week as I passed some blog milestones so if you want to stack your own shelves I am celebrating by giving away signed paperbacks and ebooks!
This week I got a lot of books, partly because I reopened to review request and partly because I had a bit of a netgalley spree. I am very excited as this week I received a paperback arc of my most anticipated books of the year, Steelheart by my all time favourite author Brandon Sanderson (if you haven't read his Mistborn series you should check it out now!). As usual if you click on the book cover you will be taken to its Amazon page.

Review
Paperback
Thank you to Gollancz for these two books.
I also received Red Rock by Kate Kelly and Amber by Julie Sykes from Curious Fox.
Ebooks
Thank you to the authors - Terra Lorin, Brenda Rothbert and Stacey Marie Brown - for these books.
NetGalley/Edelweiss
Thank you to HarperCollins and NAL/Berkely (penguin) for sending me pre-approved links. Also a huge thank you to All Night Reads, Random House Children's UK, Indie Ink, Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and St. Martins Press for approving me to read these books.
Freebies
I only downloaded one freebie this week but it sounds great and best of all it is still free :D
Bought
This week I bought two steamy romances by an author I love and also the sequel to a book I read for review and needed the next instalment immediately.
Steelheart looks good, I have been eying it for some time now. Maybe I will pick it up myself.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
My haul
oh many great covers! I'm curious about some I confess. Happy reading!
ReplyDeletehere is mine
I want to download Breaking Nova, but I'm not sure yet. It just sounds like every other book by Jessica Sorensen and it's a series, which means she'll probably end it in an annoying cliffhanger.
ReplyDeleteI'm tempted though! I think I'll wait for reviews to come in first.
I hope you enjoy your lovely books! :)
Nick - My Haul
Loads of great books! I hadn't seen those books on Netgallery yet so I'll be off to request those ;P Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my SS if you want a look!

What a great haul! Steelheart is on its way to me through Amazon Vine. It will be my first Sanderson. I am also really eager to read Archangel's Legion. Come see what I got this week at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOoh, The Falconer sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Noble Conflict when I read it earlier on in the year. I can't wait to get a copy of Finding It! I loved Losing It & Faking It, so I can't wait to meet these characters! :D
Great haul! Happy reading :)
Steelheart is on my soon to read list. Very excited to get into it because I've heard really wonderful things. I've not heard of the other books you received but I hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteMy Friends Are Fiction's SS
I read Say When last month and I loved it. The chemistry was off the charts. I won an e-book of Love, Lies and Deception and I'm excited to read it.
