Stacking the Shelves / Showcase Sunday #39

24 Nov 2013
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @Books, Biscuits, and Tea and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and they both give bloggers the opportunity to share the books they have received in the past week.

Ok so due to be so busy over the past few weeks this Stacking the Shelves post covers the last 3 weeks. As usual if you click on the book cover you will be linked to Amazon. (Recently a few people have commented that they cant see the images in these posts. I think it is due to the fact that these images are Amazon links. I am trying to find a way to fix this without returning to the formatting problems I used to have, for now I will comment the titles)

Review

I have lots of wonderful books this week. I have already read (and loved!) Forever Jack and I can't wait to start on some of these others. Quite a few of these books are ones accepted for review here on Bookish Treasures that will likely me read by Katie rather than me. However I think they all look fantastic! Several of these are also arcs of books that are releasing very soon so you should keep your eyes out!

Ebooks

The Fine Line
At Any Price

Forever, Jack
Slide
The Fine Line, At Any Price, Tease, Dare To Breathe, Tethered, Forever Jack and Slide. I also received The Book of Shade by K.C.Finn and Triton by Dan Rix.

NetGalley

Due to the current trend of publishers sending e-arcs for tours etc. from NetGalley instead of directly, I got several books from NetGalley despite only having requested one. I also got Elect (the one I requested) which is the sequel to Elite which I enjoyed.

Elect, Remy, Autumn Rose, Positively Mine, Pride's Run and Until We End.

Freebies

I got a couple of nice looking amazon freebies this week. I think a few of these are still free too :)

Frostbite, Sexy Berkeley, Wall of Doom, The Nightlife Paris, Meeting Trouble, All My Life and Dark Wine And Dark Blood.

Bought

I also bought a few books over the past 3 weeks though not many as I managed to restrain myself quite well (mainly because I am running out of my student loan and wont get any more money until January :P)

Ebooks

Crushing Summer, Wish I May and Epilogue.

Paperbacks

The Fiery Heart.

So what do you think? Have you read or want to read any of these books? Feel free to link to your own Stacking the Shelves or similar post in the comments.

  13. Great books! I kind of like that more authors are using NetGalley for tours now. It makes things easier and also cuts down on the potential for pirating. I got way too many NetGalley books this week - some for tours etc., and a few I just wanted. I have no self-control (:
