Synopsis

She travelled to the evil realm of Harte to find another gateway to Earth and was never heard from again. Rownan claimed he would go through hell to be with her, and now he must prove it.

Rownan, Yara, and Treygan will put their lives and souls at risk by traveling to the most dangerous realm of all. Love is supposed to conquer all, but no one has ever conquered Harte.

Review

This really was a beautiful book. Karen Amanda Hooper is an incredible author so I had very high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint. I loved that this book didn’t simply drag Yara and Treygan through unnecessary relationship drama just to add a second book. In fact I liked that whilst they were both very important and crucial characters in this book, the focus of the storyline revolved around Rownan.

Dangerous Depths was a great follow up to Tangled Tides that brilliantly expanded on the world created in book 1. We got to see the characters we loved in the first book as well as be introduced to several new equally amazing ones. All of characters that Karen writes just have this very special quality that makes you want to read about them all day.

Again I am in love with how unique this book was. Whenever I read one of Karen’s books they are always a complete breath of fresh air and I love that. Dangerous Depths brings together different types of mythology and paranormal creatures as well as the authors own imagination to create something very individual.

I highly recommend this book to all lovers of YA novels especially those who want to read something new, fresh and exciting.
