Waiting on Wednesday - Mine

18 Sept 2013
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and it allows readers to share the books that they are most looking forwards to reading.

This week the book I have chosen to feature is Mine by Katy Evans.

Title: Mine

Author: Katy Evans

Series: Real, Raw and Ripped #2

Publisher: Gallery Books

Publication date: November 5th

Links: Goodreads | Amazon | Amazon UK | B&N | Ibooks

Synopsis

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Riptide” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . .  and now he can’t live without her.
Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when Remington needs her the most, Brooke makes a discovery that forces her away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

My Thoughts

I got to read Real, the first book in this series back at the start of this year after getting a review request from Katy and I instantly fell in love with the book. The romance is raw and gritty and Remy is one of the best male characters in any book I have read. I am immensely excited to read the sequel and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

  4. I read Real and thought it was okay. I love the premise, but it wasn't executed very well. I'll still read this one to see how things progress. I really want to read whichever book will have Remy's POV. That sounds more interesting.
