Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @Books, Biscuits, and Tea and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and they both give bloggers the opportunity to share the books they have received in the past week.
I got a lot less books this week that the insane amount from last week. There are still quite a few but this is much more manageable which helps me de-stress slightly. I am loving my two new guest reviewers Amanda and Katie, if you haven't read any of their reviews yet you should scroll through some of the more recent posts to check them out and say hello :D

As usual if you click on the book cover you will be taken to its Amazon page.
Review
Ebooks
All three of these books look awesome, The Academy: Friends vs Family is a sequel to a series I like (review of first two books here) so I have already read it and it was great. I can't wait to read the other two novels which are both NA (the main character in Elegantly Wasted is a gun for hire - talk about unique!). If you are an author or publisher I am now re-open for review requests.

NetGalley
Even though I am on a netgalley "diet" I still received a few as they were old requests that I had made before last Sunday. All five look awesome and I cant wait to read Resist as it is the sequel to Breathe - one of the first books I reviewed on this blog.
Freebies
The Raid is a short story as a bonus to a series I love and Erased is a new book by an author I like. Erased can be download from smashwords with the code PX58M - https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/341597
So what do you think? Are there any books you have read, plan to read or have just now caught your eye? Feel free to link to your Stacking the Shelves or equivalent post in the comments.
I'm looking forward to Resist and Waterfall. Great books. :-)

Some great looking stuff! I've seen Popping the Cherry around a few places and it looks interesting. I'm on a bit of a NetGalley diet at the moment too, and review books in general for that matter. Have so much of my own stuff sitting on my shelves that I want to read!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these, and have a lovely week! :-)
You got some great looking books. I hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI'm very curious about Resist. I've not read Breathe yet but really want to. I'm very drawn to the covers. I need to look up Waterfell since I've seen a few folks get it. Great haul and have a good week.
