Stacking the Shelves / Showcase Sunday #5

17 Feb 2013
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @Books, Biscuits, and Tea and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and they both give bloggers the opportunity to share the books they have received in the past week.

This week i broke my book buying ban and bought a paperback but i think you will all forgive me when you see what i got. If you want to fill your e-reader with some lovely books some of the books i got this week are amazon freebies and i also currently have a giveaway running for a copy of Radiant. As well as another giveaway coming up next week.

If you want to stay up to date with all my posts you can follow me through GFC, email, twitter and now also facebook. I have some nice new pretty buttons on my right sidebar.

Otherborn

Otherborn is a YA dystopian that sounds so unique, interesting and amazing that i knew i just had to read it the second i saw it. This book releases on the 4th of April. I received this e-arc from the lovely people at Sapphire Star Publishing.

The Bane

This book was original published as Eden a few years ago, i read it and loved it but thought i could do with a few slight changes so it could reach its true 5 star potential. It now has a new cover, a new title, planned sequels as well as apparently several changes inside. I can't wait to read this book, see what has changed and i hope this new edition is even better.

Amazon Freebies

None Of The Regular Rules

A beautiful sounding YA contemporary about a teenage girl who tries to fulfil her dead Aunt's "Things i want to do before finishing high school" list. I have heard this book is emotional and moving and i can't wait to read it.

The Arrival

This cover caught my eye (as did the price!) and i thought the synopsis sounded pretty awesome. Four girls cast a spell and find themselves on another planet. I love genre crossovers so hopefully i will love this fantasy/ sci-fi book.

The Girl

I really like the sound of this book. It has angels and i LOVE angel books. The synopsis doesn't give much away so this book is a mystery to me.

Bought

Paperback

Three awesome books i have long awaited were released on Tuesday! I decided i would buy one this week and i chose The Indigo Spell. I love all of Richelle Meads books especially the Vampire Academy series (have you heard there will be a movie?!) and so far the spin off Bloodlines series is very promising and i can't wait to read this third instalment.

Divided

This series has me hooked! The first two books were in last week showcase Sunday and this is the book i am currently reading. They aren't perfect, in fact there are quite a few noticeable grammar errors but this series just has something special.

What do you think of my books this week? Are there any you have read or want to read? Feel free to share your stacking the shelves posts or similar in the comments.
