Waiting on Wednesday - Sentinel

4 Sept 2013
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and it allows readers to share the books that they are most looking forwards to reading.

This week the book I have chosen to feature is Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Title: Sentinel

Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Series: Covenant #5 (Last in the series!)

Publisher: Spencer Hill Press (US), Hodder and Stoughton (UK)

Publication date: November 2nd (US), December 5th (UK)

Synopsis

As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.

And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.

In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant Series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.

My Thoughts

I have been a fan of this series since book 1 first released and though I will be sad that there won't be any more books, I am excited to see how it will end. The Covenant series has gotten better with each and every book so this is sure to be amazing.

  1. I liked the first book in this series but I haven't gotten around to reading the sequels though I'm still curious to know how this is going to end.

  2. I really need to start this series! I'll probably wait until they're all released then read them all back-to-back. Great pick!
