The New Adult book club is 6 months old!

As many of you will know I run the goodreads New Adult book club on goodreads. 6 months ago yesterday I was having a discussion with several people on twitter about how awesome NA books were and I realised that it wasn't just me anymore who was obsessed with NA books. I then really wanted a community for the growing pool of NA readers to discuss all the books that they loved and at the time there was no group I could find on goodreads so I created one myself.

We started off very small with just me and a few of the people who had been involved in the twitter conversation. We were quickly joined by Stephanie and Ava who joined me as moderators and more recently Derna and Brianna have also become moderators as the group was getting pretty big.

Now 6 months on we have passed 2500 members, been mentioned in USA Today and spread our love of NA books. We have started read to review, promotional Q&A, and traveling book programmes aand have had large group Q&A's with amazing authors such as Abbi Glines and Jennifer L. Armentrout.

I have met many amazing readers, bloggers and authors and discovered lots of fabulous books. I hope that the book club will continue to grow and help even more people understand what NA books are and find some great ones to read.
