Review

From the very start I could tell this book was going to be good. It also didn’t take me long to realize that the main characters were going to become one of my favourite ever book couples. The sexual tension between Remy and Brooke was so scorching I thought my kindle would spontaneously combust. Their chemistry was so intense that even a mere glance between them was somehow incredibly hot.

I think Remington is now my new favourite male character in a book. He has the whole bad boy element but his character is so much more complex than just that and he has an amazing emotional intensity. Like Remy, the entire book has complex layers. It is a steamy love story mixed with a tale of self-discovery and moving on after your life has fallen apart and also another element I don’t want to mention as it is somewhat a spoiler.

This is a sexy romance though it is also so much more than that. Katy Evans has found the perfect balance of an incredible romance, a steamy scene or two (or three) and a well woven storyline. This book just takes things to a whole new level. Other authors are going to have to step up their game and also bring us both a story we will get lost in AND a hero who will make us swoon.

Fans of Beautiful Disaster will go crazy for this book. It is now one of my new favourites and I would recommend it to all New Adult romance fans, in fact just all romance fans. There is going to be a second book in this series about the same characters and I can’t wait to see more of them both. Especially Remy. With this book Katy Evans has made herself one of my new favourite authors and I am looking forwards to seeing what she will bring in the future.
